Salen & Zimmerman’s game
System rules: If someone says the word on a card of yours, you can pass on the cards.
Ambiguity: When are we playing the game?
Outcome: # of cards in everybody's possession at the end of the conference.
Valorization of outcome: Get rid of your cards to win.
Player effort: Listen attentively; watch your mouth.
Attachment to outcome: Players are responsible for the outcome.
Optional / negotiable consequences: Breaks with the classic game model in being disruptive of the context; in that it overlaps with a non-game activity.
